Dance The Change was able to raise $3000usd from a GoFundMe campaign February 2026 and purchase music production and DJ gear donated to Mathare Social Justice Youth Center! Adrian Blackhurst, the founder of Dance The Change has organized over 60 events since 2019, with 99% of them so far being in San Francisco, California area and a few in Hawaii on the beautiful island of Maui, his old home. Now he is proud to say there’s a chapter of Dance The Change in Kenya, and it’s already going strong! He taught music production and DJ Lessons while setting up the studio, But now there are local musicians and DJ is giving weekly lesson lessons. The kids that are age 6-18 Are absolutely ecstatic and already making songs!!! The youth are the future. These kids are dealing with severe economically challenged backgrounds, also many with parents that have drug/alcohol abuse, single mother/fathers, and their families are living off a budget of $3-5usd a day.

Dance The Change is still seeking more donations to buy them two large PA speakers, A mixing board, electric & bass guitars, and a full drum set. Approximately $1500 funds Needed for this. 🎶❤️🎶
